We are gathering stories from those who have worked at The Blanche, were guests at The Blanche or even those who have attended events at The Blanche. If a family member, who has passed away, told you stories about The Blanche we want to hear from you as well. We also want to collect copies of all your pictures and videos you may have taken at The Blanche. All of these we will sort through, digitize and upload to our website so that everyone who is interested in the project can share in the stories. Eventually, all of these will be added to a DVD which will be available for sale.
To sweeten the deal we will give each participant a signed copy of the paperback book once it has been published. So, if you or someone you know would like to schedule a date and time for interviewing, scanning your pictures and arranging to copy your videos contact us as soon as possible. Please read the GeneralReleaseForm first as you will be asked to sign it when we meet.
We hope you will take the time to share a story or two of your or your relatives experiences at the Blanche. Some of these we will put in the book and some will be posted here. But we would like to hear them all and share them with those who love a good story and support the renovation of the hotel. For those who don’t please just wait and see something good is bound to happen with all the hard work going into the place and the support of over half the county.
You can arrange a time and place to meet to tell your story or type it up and send it to us. If you do decide to share your stories, pictures, videos or whatever, by your sharing the information with us we assume you are giving us permission to share it with other.
